Reinstating a Policy

  1. Go to Create >> Select Cancel/Reinstate Endorsement.
  2. Cancel/Reinstate Endorsement
  3. Search for the account using the policy number or insured’s name >> Select the Cancelled policy >> Click Continue.

  7. Confirm the Premium and Tax/Fee amounts match what is showing on the Reinstatement Endorsement >> Click Continue.

  9. Click Attach Reinstatement.

  11. Attach the Reinstatement Endorsement.
    1. Click on the plus sign icon in the REI section.

    3. Click Browse >> Select the Reinstatement Endorsement >> Once attached, click Continue.

    5. For the Type, select Cancellation-Reinstatement Endorsement >> Click Continue.

  12. Click Continue.
  13. Check the Policy and Accounting Information verified box >> Click Continue.

  15. Click Bypass on the Send to Carrier page, as there is nothing to send to the carrier.

  17. Send the Reinstatement Endorsement to the agent.
    1. Click on the ‘To’ link >> Select the agent’s email address.
    2. If needed, copy any additional recipients.
    3. Click Continue to send the document and reinstate the policy in EI.
