Inspections

Ordering an Inspection

  1. Locate and open the policy for which you are ordering an inspection.
    1. From the Home page of Expert Insured, go to Find >> Select Insured.
    2. Find Insured
    3. Enter the insured’s name or policy number >> Click Search.
    4. Expand the insured’s section >> Double-click on the applicable policy (check the policy number, term, etc.).
  2. Go to the Insured Information tab.
  3. Click on the drop-down arrow next to Services >> Select Inspections.
  4. Click New Inspection.
  5. Select the Inspection Company >> Select the applicable Policy.
  6. Check the box next to the Location that needs to be inspected >> Click Continue.
  7. Confirm/Fill in the Inspection Details >> Click Finished.
    1. If needed, amend the Requested By Date.
    2. Confirm the Policy Number, Term, and Location.
    3. Enter the Insured Contact information.
    4. Enter any additional Comments/Instructions.
  8. Confirm the Status of the Inspection shows as Request Sent.
    1. Click on the Edit Inspection/Follow up button to make any changes/follow up on the inspection.
    2. Click Send Request if the request needs to be sent again.
    3. To view any recommendations from the inspector, click on Add/View Recs or go to the Recommendations tab.
